My name is Michael, I am the man behind the blog.

What am I about?

Here you’ll find the odd post about what I’m up to, what I do and what I can offer you. The idea of the blog is to offer you the reader as much of my advice and knowledge as I can. From the anatomy of a Diamond, to what you actually need to know about them. 

Forgive the cliché, but I’m trying to put you the ‘Person’ back into Personal Service.

Here’s a quick run down of what I do:

Since 2005, I have been supplying Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies and Emeralds along with other Gems.

I am a G.I.A accredited professional, and offer a range of services such as:

Diamond and Gem Sales

Bespoke Design and Work in Gold and Platinum

Re-modelling and Restoration

Appraisals and Valuation

 I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best goldsmiths throughout Ireland, creating individual designs for clients nationwide.

My theory is simple. By buying gems direct, I can supply direct.

Meeting clients on a 1 to 1 basis affords scope and direction when designing a piece. It also takes the stuff and nonsense out of a sector, that tends to strive for the sale, as opposed to looking after clients.

I have selected some of the most accessible brokers in Antwerp, and have a substantial array and selection of stones to choose from. These are available loose,  in pairs and in sets.

The majority of Diamonds over 0.40cts are accompanied with grading reports, and are available between 30% and 60% less than then the equivalent stone at retail prices. Certification is from the institutions such as the G.I.A. Laser inscription and sealing are available upon request. 

My designs are your designs so you as a client get to start from scratch, and design what you want.  

By using a goldsmith you are in total control over your design and get the work custom made to suit you.

I will offer the best advice on choosing a stone or stones for your piece. So from the classic solitaire to the bespoke designed ring, you have at your disposal the finest gems available and the best Irish craftspeople at hand.
